 TRUSTEE M.C. ROBINSON
Most Bellwood citizens recognize my face, as I have been an active resident for nearly 20 years. My educational and professional background includes Loop College and the American Institute of Engineering and Technology. I am a retired tool and die maker with Linkbelt/FMC/Grotness Metal Forming Systems. I worked in this industry for many years. During my time at Grotnes, I was a group leader. I was elected for 20 consecutive years as the chairperson for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Union.
I am widely known as a community activist. I currently serve as a Block Captain, as a member of the Neighborhood Watch Scholarship Board and I am involved in the Village’s Community Policing Program. I am also a former Commissioner of the Planning Board.
As a Trustee, I serve as the Communications Chairperson and as a Public Safety Chairperson. I will continue to work hard to make sure that the issues concerning the people of Bellwood are brought to the board and are heard loud and clear. I plan to work with my fellow board members to ensure the continual progress of this great community.
