As clerk, my primary commitment is to serve all the citizens who reside, work and recreate in the Village of Bellwood.  The duties and responsibilities of my office are diverse and require a considerable amount of dedication and commitment to ensure that the Village functions in an effective and efficient manner.
Under my leadership, I have implemented the following policies, procedures, and practices to improve the competencies of the Village Clerk's Office:
Introduced new villages ordinances and organized the current ordinances

  • Introduced a 24 hour informational cable communication in the Village lobby
  • Implemented and supervised the collection of delinquent water bills
  • Participated in various seminars and workshops for Village Clerks
  • Revised the Freedom of Information form
  • Facilitated workshops for newly-introduced election voting machines

As a testament of my commitment to serve my community, I pursued and received the designation of Certified Clerk from the Illinois Municipal Clerk's Association.  I currently serve on the Fire and Police Pension Board and I also serve as Village Collector, Corporate Seal Keeper, Board Secretary and Record Keeper of all official Village Meetings.
In addition to my above duties, I have coordinated my 3rd Annual Senior Ball for the pioneers of our Village in which approximately 300 seniors in the community attend this event annually. I serve as a member and event coordinator for the Bellwood Neighborhood Watch Scholarship Fund Corporation.  I currently serve as Director of the Youth Program and supervise the Annual Youth Summer Program, which provides summer employment for Bellwood youth.
Under the leadership of Mayor Pasquale, I will continue in my capacity as Village Clerk to work diligently for our residents to ensure that the Village of Bellwood is a place that we proudly call home.
